At the Center of historical Évora, a 19th-century manor house with Moorish origins will become The Palacete da Misericordia, a 22-room hotel. Careful historical restoration of the frescoes, vaulted ceilings, and architectural details is necessary for the interior. A glass-roofed atrium will connect the original building to its extension. Outside, the courtyard will be brought to life with botanical landscaping and the construction of a pool that will run along its edge.
